The Allied International 39030 92-Piece Professional Socket and Wrench Set is engineered to ANSI standards for hardness and torque, with durability and strength ensured by using full polished, heat-treated chrome vanadium steel. The 45-tooth ratchets come in 1/2-inch, 3/8-inch, and 1/4-inch sizes, require just 8 degrees of sweep for turning fasteners in tight spaces, and they come with quick releases to make your work easier. The sockets come in SAE and metric sizes, and include 1/2-inch, 3/8-inch, and 1/4-inch drives. Replace spark plugs with the 5/8-inch spark plug socket, and use the eight 3/8-inch driver deep sockets and combination wrenches equipped with Dyna-Drive to make turning easier. It all comes in a heavy duty storage case and is backed by a lifetime warranty.

This set is of really good quality. I've had it several months, & used it quite a bit already. No excess play or sloppiness noticed. Sockets snap on & off super easy. Just a very high quality, very complete basic set of tools you'll be pulling out again & again. The pieces stay in place, just like they're supposed to. I've already dropped mine quite a distance, & dreaded opening the case, but was pleasantly surprised to see not one tool was dislodged. There's standard & metric, with repeats of some of your most common sizes, & many deep wells too. Hey, it ain't Snap-On, but it ain't bad. It doesn't come with their mortgage, either! Can't miss with this!

This is good deal for the price not a mac set, but have not had any problems with it and have use for over a year now.

The tools are top notched, but that is only half of it. The case is well organized and easy to snap the sockets in-and-out.

Over the years I have had many tool sets - especially socket sets. There's a reason for that - sockets easily fall out of the case when you open them and it is hard to keep things organized. Not so with this set. Each tool is secure in its own place - no falling out and getting lost. In addition the quality of the tools seems excellent. With both SAE and metric sizes this is a really nice set and the price is right.

I decided to purchase a real socket wrench set after I knocked my 15 year old cheep-o set on the floor one too many times - and got tired of putting everything back in the case.First let me say that this case is designed so that WHEN you knock this set on the ground all the sockets stay in place. Second, this set is very well made and thought out. (For instance the metric and standard allen wrenches are different colors - so you can tell them apart at a glance.) These wrenches fit the hand just right and are a pleasure to use. I highly recommend them.
