Amazon.com Product Review There's no getting around the fact that tools are heavy. And awkward. And it's a real chore to haul them around, especially up and down ladders. We think Custom LeatherCraft's backpack is a great solution, with 75 pockets and a place for everything - even a drill. It's made of DuPont Cordura Plus, a fabric that DuPont has been improving for decades and using for luggage, sporting apparel, boots, shoes, and golf and ski bags. It's a rugged nylon blend that stands up to abuse, weather and wear. There's plenty of room for everything you have to haul around: a 14-piece wrench sets, cable stripper, screwdrivers, rasps, pliers, hammer, locking pliers, clamps, you name it. We like the compartmentalized plastic container for everything from wire caps to screws and fuses, keeping everything sorted and at your fingertips. It slips neatly into its own hook-and-loop strapped pocket. There's even a convenient spot for your corded or cordless drill with a hook-and-loop fastener that keeps it secure. If you load this backpack up, it's heavy. But like we said, tools are heavy. This just makes it easier to carry them where you need them, with your hands free for toting more supplies or hanging onto a pole or ladder. We like it for convenience, and we love it for personal safety.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste What's in the Box Backpack, 7-by-5-inch multi-compartment plastic tray

Outstanding! Finally, I have found the ultimate tool bag. May 3, 2009 Local 26 Electrician (Washington DC) I have searched and searched for a better way of hauling my tools around from job to job. I am an electrician with Local 26 and have tried tool boxes of all sizes, bags of all sizes and just wasn't happy with any of them, Until now! I have used this tool backpack for a month now, I have loaded it up with everything on the Union tool list plus a few extra items to make my life easier, and there is still room to spare. I even fit my hacksaw in it. This bag is great! I can climb anywhere needed and can bring everything with me. My search is over!

I had read some questionable reviews on this bag but I really liked the idea of a tool backpack for my job so I gave it a try. As a previous reviewer said its only good for short tools and thats true theres lots of pockets for 4 inch tools. Anyway after about two months of full time use the one of the zippers gave out. The straps on this thing are the same as the ones found on a normal backpack used for school. Overall the construction is light duty and is not at all comparable to my other clc bag. I want to check out http://www.toolpak.com/ but I cant find enough info on it to determine if its any better.
The bag rocks February 26, 2009 jr 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
So many pockets, so few tools. This bag meets all of my needs and makes schlepping my tools to my car 5 blocks away a breeze. Really well thought out. Wish there were more big pockets with a flap instead of 2 small ones (to fit 30' tape measure for example). Otherwise a great product.

This was a gift for my husband. He really likes it. He took it offshore with him this last hitch and said it is much easier to carry around than the bag he had been using. His only negative comment is that he wished it were a little bigger.
