Bats AWAY November 20, 2009 moonstar (Roseville, CA) We moved into a brand new house and noticed that all around the corners there was poo. The poo looked like rat or mouse droppings, but it was only on the corners, so we weren't sure what kind of rodent it was. We also noticed that there were stains on the very top corners of the ceiling and walls. We weren't sure if it was from the new paint on our house or what. Being city folks and moving the the country, it never occured to us that we'd have bats, until the first night spent at the house, my husband noticed something flying outside the front door, low and behold a bat hanging upside down on the corner of the ceiling outside our front entrance. GROSS! Our first purchase was for a 'Bird-X TX-PRO Transonic Pro Electronic Pest Repeller'. It took a almost a week, but the bats finally left the front entrance, only to start hanging out in the back of the house. After spending over $30.00 for the one in the front entry, I wasn't prepared to spend that amount again for the back of the house, so I thought I'd try this P3 International Wave Attack out, since it had semi good reviews. I know that it's listed as an indoor repeller, but I didn't see the harm in putting it outside. This item totally worked for us. No more bats at all. All these repellers have a clicking noise, which you won't really hear or notice when you're inside. But it didn't bother us since we were using it for the exterior. We didn't want that clicking sound on all the time throughout the day and since the bats only appeared at night we put timers on both of them so that they'd only go on late in the evening. I figure if it's on constantly, the bats might get use to and reappear. It's been almost a month and I'd say it's working out for us. I give it a 4 star because we haven't had it long enough, otherwise it'd be a 5 star rating.
Seems to work October 22, 2009 Ken Fougère (Boston, (Everett), Massachusetts) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Seems to work. I like it so far . . . P3 International P7816 Attack Wave Ultrasonic Pestrepeller
The jury's still out October 21, 2009 rudy (phoenix) In my new house less than two months now, the pestrepeller has been in use about one month. Still see the occaisonal spider so don't know if this unit is effective. Will update in a few months...
No more unwanted critters October 16, 2009 Patricia L. Heincy 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have had this unit for several months now and am using it outside even though it is for inside use - have it on the patio protected from water/rain/snow. The reason is it covers a large area 5,000 sq feet and I have not seen one mouse or Great American cockroach since I have been using it - want to be sure my home is not invaded by unwelcome critters. So far am very pleased. El Paso, TX
It works... October 15, 2009 A. YU (NEW YORK CITY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I did not believe any of the ultrasonic pest repellers would work, but eventfully convince by their ads, then I purchased. But none of those worked, I read a review about this one. So I gave it a try, not cost a lot anyway.
Well, I put this one in my kitchen (I had seen few roaches running around that area once a while), in around one week. I did not see anymore roaches in the kitchen any more. It seemed all the roaches gone.
I did not know if this one was doing its job, all I know is: after I put this one in my kitchen, I do not see any more roaches running around. So, I think it works. For mice, I do not know, because I do not have any mice in my house. It works for roaches, if it works for other insects, I do not know.
This is the second one I purchased. It works for me so that I purchased one for my tenant upstairs.
Yes, it makes a small noise. It is every small. If I do not pay attention I hardly able to hear it.
