| Customer Reviews: yeah buddy August 16, 2009 E. McDermott the price "mon" the price. I could not get close to this amount for the money and glad bags to boot.
Good bag but will not stop a hungry raccoon. March 21, 2009 Wood Wren (U.S.A.) I love these bags and they are the only ones I use in my kitchen. They are strong enough to hold any item I place in them and I can safely put more into these bags than any of the others I have tried. They fit my waste container perfectly. Now this bag is not as easy to close as their older one was but I have not had too much trouble with it. The only complaint I have is that when I forget to securely fasten the lids on my outside trash containers, the raccoons can shred these bags with complete ease. Of course the raccoons around my place could probably shred a Sherman Tank, if it had food in it, so I suppose I cannot complain about that aspect.
Good sized, strong bag. November 9, 2008 Tillie Traveling (Northwestern Connecticut) These bags enable me to put everything possible into ONE bag that doesn't leak for the weekly trip to my local transfer station. While I recycle everything possible, there is still real "garbage" left over. Having drawstrings is very convenient.
Great . . . UNTIL you try to pull it out of the garbage can!! August 18, 2007 Tara (USA) 6 out of 9 found this review helpful
I have been using Glad garbage bags for many years but my last two purchases have been a disaster. I think the quality is slipping and so is my future purchases of this product. The bags are sturdy and don't rip but when you pull even a light weight bag out of the garbage can the red string that tightens the top breaks. That being said, there is no way to pull the bag out of the can without ripping the bag. Complete disaster in the kitchen!!! That being said, I will not be purchasing Glad kitchen bags again . . .
Just a great bag for an everyday purpose, better than ForceFlex May 28, 2007 John Schaffer (Blacklick, OH) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Glad has introduced the ForceFlex replacement for this bag, and now is the only version sold at my local Sam's Club. The newer bag is far more resilient to sharp objects and heavier items but comes with some downsides. It has an odd feel to it, a bit powdery and rubbery, but not a big thing. More annoying is the higher price. Most annoying is closing the drawstring. On the old bag, simply pulling up caused the opening to bunch and seal nicely for tying. On the newer ForceFlex, the drawstrings seem to rub against the rubbery texture and consequently the bag is much harder to seal. Not appreciated in an everyday garbage bag. Unless your personal trash is sharp and heavy, skip the annoying ForceFlex and get these very simple, excellent bags.
