| Customer Reviews:
One of the best December 6, 2008 Just Anonymous (Georgia, USA) This is a great 1/2 in air ratchet. I have a good 1/2 inch set of impact sockets and a good impact gun. This 1/2 ratchet was a good way to get more milage out of my existing impact sockets, especially the smaller sockets. A few things about this ratchet. - at 90lbs of torque its about as strong as you can get for something in this size - its long so you can reach pretty deep - the head is plastic covered so if you're a restorer this ratchet won't bang abrasively into anything - this ratchet is pretty quite as air tools go As a con - the head of this ratchet is not small and is pretty typical for a 1/2 ratchet. But this makes me sometimes wish I had a 3/8 impact socket set and a 3/8 ratchet. So if you do a lot of precision work with the smaller sockets and are looking for an air tool, make sure this 1/2 ratchet will get in everywhere you need to. Of note, Chicago Pneumatic is not a US company anymore - I think someone outside the US bought them. Overall, a very solid ratchet, quiet, and dependable.
