Product Description Move heavy, up to 700lb., machines with ease using HTCs new roller base. Rather than lifting the machine to lock it in place this base uses wheel locks on the fixed wheel end, and leveling locks which lower to the floor on the steering end. Put your shop on wheels with this heavy duty base. Adjustable from 14" x 14" to 22" x 54".

Great Mobile Base January 9, 2010 Julie Barfield I have purchased the HTC mobile bases and while they are good, I found this one easier and better to assemble. It literally goes together in about 3 minutes. I purchased it for a Jet 16 in. heavy duty planer and it rolls smoothly, locks great and I am completely satisfied.
HTC3000 works great on a Rigid 6 1/2" Jointer November 30, 2009 R. Gillespie (Charleston, WV) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased the HTC3000 at Amazon for my floor model JP06100 Rigid jointer that weighs about 300 lbs. Since the HTC is rated for 700 lbs. it handles the Rigid jointer easily. I especially like the wheel locks better on the HTC3000 than the HTC2000 which I also got at Amazon for my lighter weight table saw. My table saw didn't really need a mobile base but it helps me move it out of the way in tight spaces in my garage workshop. The directions are a little vague but if you are a "handyman" at heart you should have no problem putting it together. With the free shipping this is a bargain. I recommend it highly for anyone who has a heavy shop tool or cabinet that needs mobility.
The specifications are a lie October 6, 2009 Woodshop Man (MINNEAPOLIS, MN USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
*(I gave this one star because you can't rate something "no stars")
The product description, and the outside of the HTC box say the size is 14" x 14" to 22" by 54". B.S.
It comes with (4) 17 3/4" sides and (4) 13 1/2" sides. If you put the two 17 " sides on the ends, the other six sides stretched end-to-end only comes up to 45"(that's not bolting them together).
If you add up their measurments you get 152" total. If you add up the total sides supplied it's only 125", and that's having them end-to-end, not bolted together!
Then I figured it out. They were measuring from the OUTSIDE of the attached wheels, not the inside where the machine actually sits to get the 22" and measuring the other sides end-to-end from the outside of the wheels again to get 54"....what the #@$%^!
I think someone was smoking some funny weed when they came up with these numbers.
And, even if you still could use this base, it's never-NEVER- going to hold anything close to it's advertised weight limit.
And a last general comment.....could these companies PLEASE start hiring an English speaking person to write their instructions!
This is a sturdy stand for my Powermatic Saw May 18, 2009 Chip Mccoy (Yuma, Arizona United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This stand is fairly simple to assemble and is sturdy enough to hold my Powermatic model 66 table saw. I ended up re-assembling it because the first try was too tight to let the table base set down in the stand. I do need to purchase the extension to support the extended table and fence. Overall, this is a very sturdy alternative to the stand offered by Powermatic.
Excellent Wheels 4 U February 6, 2009 M. RUSSO (North Scituate, RI United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm on my way to having purchased and assembled five of these bad boys. They work GREAT! OK, putting the FIRST one together was just a little tedious, but it worked so well, and I've discovered so many other useful heavy-moving-around applications, I won't use anything else. I even had the unusual experience of telling the manufacturer they left one wheel out of the box and three days later it arrived. HTC makes an awesome product and are even ready to correct the occasional snafu. What's not to like?
