We have a lake home and the deer feed on all of our hostas. We were at a nursery and paid a high price for this product, BUT IT WORKED!!! So, I typed in deer repellent in the search box one day and it came up on Amazon at almost half the price and free shipping!!!! The product lasted all summer around the hostas and we didn't have to use the smelly sprays that we had used for years!

From suburban New Jersey: After reading the hype in a local newspaper, I ordered eleven packages (66 repellent units) for around $240. I have primarily daylilies, grown only for their blooms (150 named varieties, around 300 plants) and hostas, two of deer's favorite foods. Installed repellent units in late April and looked forward to a glorious garden. At least 70 percent of daylily buds have been devoured (they only eat the buds) and they mowed down about 25% of hostas. It's mid-July and they're not finished grazing yet! Followed directions for placement, etc. to no avail. Of the last three years of deer damage(2 w/no repellent) this is the VERY WORST. The product simply doesn't work for me. The deer's habitat is rapidly shrinking because of land development so we have to pay the price. Or maybe New Jersey deer just have ATTITUDE. Total disappointment. Save your money!! P.S> The deer eat many other perennials too! Good luck. If you discover a product that works, maybe you could share it back here. Deer Fortress Deer Repellent

Just last week my wife and I were looking for a product to keep the deer out of the garden. We came across this product and the store person said "it must be good cuz nobody has brought it back or complained." Well I'm gonna take it back. This morning on my way to work I looked out the kitchen door and about 18" away from the All Season Deer Repellent was a doe eating away on a hybiscus. Don't buy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a pack and hung one unit in each young tree (pear, apple, peach). I totally obeyed the directions and I live in a humid climate, which is supposed to favor the effect of the repellent.
In less than a week ALL TREES WERE EATEN DOWN like it were an ATTRACTANT and NOT AT ALL A REPELLENT. They ate right from near the unit (less than 5 inches from it) and they are doing that every night.
I had MUCH BETTER SUCCESS with SOAP HANGING in the trees.
HORRIBLE!
It says it contains dried blood. From what animal I wonder!? Chicken maybe !?!
Next on my list is planting GARLIC around the "trees".
