The manufacturer's description says "Adjustable Viewing Angle," but I don't see any such mechanism in the close-up photos. Is this possible or not?

This iPhone holder has a great design, it looks sort of like a mini iMac once you place your phone on it. The main reason why I purchased this stand was to make it easier to study for the GMAT. There are a few GMAT Apps in the App Store, and by placing my phone on this stand, I can easily go from question to question with out having to hold a pen in one hand and an iPhone in the other (not a hard task, unless your going through a 200+ question exam).
I've also used it to browse a few websites and YouTube, it's sort of nice having the iPhone on a stand, with the proper angle, and enjoy what you are doing. If you have a business or school app you spend tons of time on, or just watch movies and videos on your iPhone, this stand is a must have you will not regret purchasing.
The reason why I took one star off, is because you will have to remove the phone from it's case every time you want to place on on this stand. If you have one of those hard to remove cases, this may get annoying. I suppose if you have a case for look, more than protection, you could send your iPhone to [...] for a custom paint job, and never use a case again. ...just an idea.
It's accessories like this one, and the addition of iPhone Apps everyday that make me happy about having a phone that can do it all, and not want to have a NetBook that weighs more.

I ordered the stand for my office desk so that I can sync while at the office. It rests at a great angle and looks really cool. I use my apple cord to connect to my computer, so it charges and syncs!

This was the biggest waste of money! This stand, when compared to the iClooly by Satechi, is inferior. You can't adjust the angle of the phone to actually USE it! I have both the Xtand (for iPhone 3G) and the iClooly, and the Xtand sits in the drawer while the iClooly gets all the glory! If it weren't for the price, I would have trashed it once I received my iClooly. On top of that, this design, as far as aesthetics go, BLOWS! The iClooly, which resembles an iMac, is a far superior stand, and it's FULLY ADJUSTABLE, unlike the Xtand. Don't waste your money!
