Plantronics Voyager November 19, 2009 J. mollus (Vegas) This was a replacement for the same ear piece I had stolen in a break in last month. It's a great bluetooth and a wonderful, LOW price! Amazon had it cheaper then anywhere else locally or online by 20.00, and with free shipping, it was a nice deal after having to bear the brunt of lowlife theives!
Unbelievable Little Product November 18, 2009 David Rawles (D-FW, TX, USA) I bought this bluetooth a few months ago and have recommended it to countless people. it is so light weight I have lost it twice only to find it still in my ear. And yet is stays put, does wiggle around or fall out like so many do. Both the mic and the speaker are working great ... callers can hear me and I can hear them.
My wife has to remind me to take it off and put it on the great little charger each night. I keep forgetting it is there.
Voice quality not so good November 18, 2009 Q. Xie Pros:
- Nice design
- Very comfortable to ware
Cons:
- Poor voice quality; you get a lot of static noise if you don't keep the phone close to the headset. For example, the static noise would become very strong and voice quality very poor if I keep my Blackberry in its leather jacket and keep it in the far side of my coat pocket. It is sensitive to the point that if I wave my hand over the Blackberry, I get static noise. I never had this problem before with my old Bluetooth headset.
Works good fits bad November 16, 2009 DRS (Arizona) It works good so far but it just dangles on the ear. The most uncomortable head set I have ever used. I push it in the ear but after a while it falls out and dangles on the ear hook. You have to constantly put it back in to the ear.
Battery life phenomenal November 16, 2009 Winston LeChat (LI NY USA) I have been using a Motorola 555 Bluetooth headset. Sound quality was not great and the battery life was pathetic -- 2 days max with very little use.
The Plantronics 520 is a big improvement in both regards. The battery charge lasts over a week with the same use pattern as the Motorola unit.
The only complaint: why did they decide to use their own charger connector, instead of the near-universal micro-USB that my phone uses?
So I have a rats nest of 2 charger cords in the front seat of my vehicle.
