I no longer need to have chargers laying around. My Phone doubles as my bedside alarm clock. Before I bought this I had to make sure my BB had enough charge so it would buzz in the morning. I can check my calendar for early morning meetings if I ever need to snooze. When I wake up, my blackberry is charged for the day. That's convenience! I like the dim white light in the back that guides me to replace the phone on the cradle in the dark. That was a very nice touch. Overall, I think if you have a BB Bold, you need this accessory. To charge, all I do is to put my phone in the cradle and that's it. This pod has a special mechanism which engages the battery charge contact point on the 2 lower sides of the phone. As the phone is inserted into the pod, the weight of the phone pushes the charge points to make contact with the phone. Excellent design! Great concept from RIM. Just plop the phone in the base and it charges. Also provides a clock on my desk and reminds me to grab the phone (since it is more visible than when laying down on the desk)when I head out of the office. Looks nice too. Your Bold is crying out for this!   January 20, 2009 Happy Camper (Raleigh, NC USA) If you own a Blackberry 9000 Bold phone you NEED to get one of these. It works great, looks great, and is a much more convenient way to charge your phone. The only downside is that if you use a silicone skin on your bold or an attached case you will need to remove the case/skin to charge. I don't use either - just the factory holster (which also saves your battery) so it works perfectly for me. I combined mine with the mini extra battery charger and can always have my Bold and a spare battery charged. AccessoryOne was great. All items as described and fast shipping.
