Lightweight and clear as a bell as opposed to other blutooth headsets I've tried (Jawbone etc.). Highly recommended!

I've owned a number of bluetooth headsets over the years and find this to be the best unit yet. The unit doesn't have an over-the-ear loop, which I found cumbersome to put on, take off, and in general, uncomfortable. It does insert into the ear with a simple quarter turn, is comfortable and stays put. The sound quality is excellent, even in wind and around other people. The on-off is definitive and superior to my previous Jawbone device.
I love the carrying case, which also doubles as a charging case. I travel a lot and need to protect the device when I'm on a plane and its not in my ear. This case thoroughly protects the device from being crushed while stored away in my laptop travel bag.
After owning multiple products over the last 5 years, I can say with confidence that the folks at Plantronics put a lot of thought into the overall design and features of this device. This is BY FAR the best unit on the market. I highly recommend it for the high usage owner.
 Does not work well with iPhone 3GS November 13, 2009

Connection with iPhone 3GS has a lot of static noise - very annoying. Also, voice dialing does not work with my iPhone 3GS. Unable to get voice dialing working after several calls with Plantronics customer support. I did not have either of these issues with my Jawbone Prime. Jawbone Prime worked flawlessly. I will be sending this headset back and ordering the superior Jawbone Prime - and for less money!

Great product that promotes driving safety but doesn't detract from the quality and ease of use in communicating on one's cell phone. The slim design looks cool and the sound quality is great. The features of noise cancellation makes driving and speaking on the cellphone a better experience.
Most Comfortable and Clear Headset Ever November 4, 2009

I have been searching for a comfortable Bluetooth headset for years. My previous one was an Etymotic Research etyBLU Dual-Mode Noise-Isolating Bluetooth Headset. I liked the look of the boom because it looks like I am wearing a headset and talking on the phone. The smaller headsets are too small, and people don't realize I am on the phone. I also liked the boom because it picks up my voice louder over ambient noise.
This is by far the most comfortable headset I have worn. I have had difficulties with headsets that use rings to attach around the ear. They seem difficult to take on and off, and fall off easily. The ring on my etyBLU eventually broke through the rubber hinge. I have also tried headsets with an in-ear rubber plug that was both uncomfortable and prone to falling out. The Plantronics uses a rubber stabilizer that wedges itself lightly on the ribs outside the ear canal. I haven't tried running with it (seems like it would hold), but it certainly holds up to brisk walking and head movements. The headset is amazingly easy taking in and out. Literally pop in and out... no adjustments necessary!
Calls are very clear and loud with this headset. I used to have to bury the headset in my ear just to hear conversations. It also pairs very nicely with my iPhone 3GS. Volume controls are shared with the phone. The on-board volume button is a hard to find on this headset, unless you know what to feel for... but unnecessary as I can use my phone to adjust it. I rarely read directions, so I went ahead and tried pairing by holding the Bluetooth headset button for a few seconds. With my iPhone ready, presto, it paired right away! I don't really use the voice activated features, instead using my iPhone interface.
Call quality is absolutely incredible. Any disruption to the calls is caused by AT&T, not the headset. It is so comfortable, I can easily wear it for hours. The rechargeable carrying case is a neat idea. I am also a big fan of the iPhone recharging case. It makes it easy to add a little bit of juice while on the road. Plantronics makes amazing headsets for office phones, and they bring the same perfection to Bluetooth headsets. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
