Customer Reviews: Cool Attic Fan July 5, 2009 PizzaMan (Bakersfield, Ca USA) 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
Looked for a roof mounted fan. I did not want a gable fan because of the hip roofs on my house. Ad leads one to believe that it is NOT a gable fan, but the box plainly states that it IS a gable fan. It is very much like what I could have bought in town in which case I could have bought it for the same price and had it immediately. Extremely hot weather was coming on and I took the chance to mount it anyway. One of the struts for the shroud was bent and when I installed the fan, the blade fell down on the screws of the motor because the set screw was loose. Doesn't work well as a roof mount, so I left it unplugged. I will have to install a new roof vent. Not this summer in this heat! Thanks for nothing!
