It works great November 7, 2009 Peter H. Blank (morristown, nj) Does exactly what it says. It cleans the gutters perfectly.
Very simple...it works. (By the way, I ordered this on line from Amazon at 4PM on Tuesday and the UPS man was at my house at 2PM on Wednesday. 22 hours from click to receipt. PERFECT!!!!
Blower extension needs modification. November 3, 2009 Bowie Mills (Derwood,Md) This item does what it was designed to but with some difficulty. It is somewhat unstable even when the the blower is operated at low speed. Perhaps fewer but longer extensions or a body belt of of some sort to help stablize it.
I bought 2 so I could reach my 21' high gutters. October 22, 2009 K. Koch 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought my first kit and was very pleased with how fast and easy it was to clean my first story gutters. It's messy, so wear eye protection and a water-proof hooded jacket. I should also note that I attached the kit to my Troy-Bilt Backpack Blower by using this PVC Flexible Coupler 3"x3". This has worked better then expected. If you do connect the kit using the PVC coupler, make sure you DO attach the short round adapter to the elbow. This allows the vertical tube to rotate like a hand on a clock and is helpful when standing the unit up and resting it to the ground.
I bought my second kit because the first one worked so well, I figured it was worth attempting to buy a second kit so that I could reach my 21' high gutters. I was a little worried about this working because with just one kit I noticed the elbow flexing, and a small piece broke off the elbow. I can't really call this a flaw, because I am using this product in a way that it wasn't designed for. The extensions connect to each other by screwing together, except for the bottom most extension, which "clips" into the elbow, allowing the vertical tube to spin. This caused me a problem because I had to use all of the extensions to reach the gutters and I couldn't "clip" the extra extension to anything... so I duct taped it to the top, which worked.
Performance wise, using 2 kits worked, but it's much much harder then just using 1 kit. The kits bow a tremendous amount, making it very hard to direct air flow into the gutters. Here is the technique I used: Hook the nozzle onto the gutter and allow it's weight to keep it in place. Twist it back a forth to blow air down both directions and when you need to move to a new section, slide it and by using the air flow to propel it.
Warnings when using 2 kits:
1. Watch were you walk, don't stare up when balancing the kits or you will be staring in a hilarious viral video.
2. You need to be somewhat strong/coordinated to handle 2 kits and it helps to be tall.
3. Debris has farther to fall, so make sure you wear eye protection.
4. Don't be surprised if the elbow breaks, I'm planning to replace it with a PVC elbow if both break.
I am very happy with these kits. I have many trees, including several massive oaks that clog my gutters multiple times in spring and fall. I am now able to clean out 173 feet of gutters in under 30 minutes without having to get on a ladder (unless I want to verify the gutters are clean, which they always have been).

Tired to climbing ladders to clean the gutters of leaves? Then this is the kit for you!
Very powerful and does a great job of cleaning the gutters. Just assemble and walk
along. The only drawback is that the blower will 'twist' from the force. Hang on thight.

The attachment can be easily fit to a gas blower. However, it works only 1 minute and it is blowed off quickly. I cannot tighten the blower further to stop it to blow off. I look at the product carefully and think the produce should have a slightly higher clip on the adaptor. Well, I have to return the product. But it may work on electric blower.
