 Great family movie June 30, 2009

Although this movie did not have a huge budget, it's really a good drama. The Bibical message is very clear. It has a bitter sweet ending that is very memorable. There's only one or two "A-line" actors in it, but the acting isn't bad. It's a really good story, well written. Overall, it's not an oscar winner, but it is entertaining.

This is a great family movie. Though it is at times simplistic, its message is a powerful one about love, redemption and a man's struggle to accept why God allows bad things to happen to good people. You shouldn't miss it. Michael Biehn is great as the lead character. It is a good, funny, touching film that is great for the whole family.

Great movie! We rented it last night and this morning I'm online to buy it. Our video library is very selective--there aren't many movies I'll spend the money on to watch again, but "The Ride" is one of them. Clean--well acted--great message--and a cowboy theme to boot. What more could you ask?

This is the kind of ride that's enjoyable to watch and has a great message as well. A very inspiring movie - Brock Pierce's great acting reminded me of being a teenager and trying to win folks to Christ and get them to come out to revivals and tent meetings such as they had at one point in this movie. Even if you're not a Christian ( yet) this is an entertaining film.

i really liked this one, i had watched it once before on tv but they took out all of the sub-plot with smokey and the loan sharks, that sub-plot made the movie a lot more enjoyable. buy it! you(more likely then not) will not regret it
