Sam Elliott September 19, 2009 Collie (Wyoming,USA) Pretty good DVD, our whole family enjoyed it - I am a fan of Sam Eliott, so enjoy any movie or DAV he makes

I enjoyed this film because it was family friendly and presented good ethics in personal responsibility.
More 'Hole' than expected. March 9, 2009 G. Sitton (Westminster, CO) The 'Mac' depicted here was far too silly to have grown into the Norman Maclean of "A River Runs Through It". Otherwise a good adaptation of the Maclean novella
So So! November 26, 2008 David Firmes (Worcester, MA USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Sam Elliott is one of my favorite actors but this movie is short on substance and even shorter on Sam Elliott.
Interesting movie November 4, 2008 S. Mitchell (Tyler, TX United States) I love westerns and this is an interesting addition to my library. Not much to say about it in a review except it is enjoyable. Sam Elliot always has entertaining and unusual movies.
