Product Description Santa has his hands full when his in-laws come for a visit and Jack Frost wants to take over Christmas. Genre: Feature Film-Comedy Rating: G Release Date: 20-NOV-2007 Media Type: DVD
Amazon.com How about a new villain and a dash of It's a Wonderful Life to spice up the third installment of the popular Tim Allen holiday franchise? Under the onslaught of another Christmas season, Santa Claus/Scott Calvin (Allen) is feeling even more pressure because Mrs. Claus (Elizabeth Mitchell, reprising her role from The Santa Clause 2) is expecting a little Claus and also longing for the company of some "tall people." So Scott agrees to let her parents (Ann-Margret and Alan Arkin) visit as long as they believe that they're really in Canada rather than at the North Pole. Further complicating matters is a visit by Scott's ex-wife (Wendy Crewson), her husband (Judge Reinhold), and their daughter, Lucy (Liliana Mumy). Enter the bad boy of the Council of Legendary Figures, Jack Frost (Martin Short), who's supremely jealous of the figures who have their own holidays, especially Santa. So he launches a plan to sabotage the toy factory and compel Scott to invoke the little-known Escape Clause and wish he'd never become Santa. The resulting evocation of a classic Christmas movie, It's a Wonderful Life, is seasoned with a splash of Back to the Future when Scott rewinds 12 years (has it really been that long?) to when it all began. Though neither sequel has matched the charm of the original Santa Clause, both have been safe, reliable family fare. (All ages: some crude humor) --David Horiuchi

not as great as the first one! October 25, 2009 Lucy (Florida)
Perhaps, I shouldn't have waste my time watching this movie. I thought it would be funny based on the preview. When I went to watch this movie on Saturday, I did not find one scene funny at all. The only funny stuff in this movie was the bloopers. Overall, the movie just sucks! It wasn't that great as the first one. The first one was more funnier. The second one was good too, but this one was just not that great. It was okay and all but it just wasn't that funny. I personally think that I should have seen Borat instead of this movie. At least, I would have something to laugh about! I miss the 90s! They used to have such good movies that were much more funnier! If anyone want to see a good Christmas movie, I would recommend Home Alone 1,2, Miracle on 34th Street, and The Santa Clause 1,2.
Hilarious movie August 21, 2009 B. Kramer The comedy between Tim Allen & Martin Short cannot be matched. So hilarious, great for the kids and the parents. We watch it over and over, even when it's not christmas season lol. Great movie, definitely worth the money

Used but in new condition February 2, 2009 Smitty 50 (Massachusetts, USA) Have been wanting this DVD, but couldn't see paying top dollar for a year old movie. Found this here--and am very satisfied! Will be back!
Overall, very good January 29, 2009 Gmarie (Utah) Overall this movie is very good. We bought it because we had the first two, and it didn't feel complete without the third. The ending was a little too cheesy, but for the most part it was very enjoyable and I'm glad we bought it.
