Product Description CBS-TV. Three different shows with ED WYNN and music by LUD GLUSKIN AND HIS ORCHESTRA. The first regular series to originate in California - the East Coast saw kinescopes. Sponsored by Speidel Watch Bands.1.October 13, 1949 (second show of the series). Ed visits a restaurant and meets guest MEL TORME in a record shop.2.October 20, 1949. Ed visits a reducing salon and meets guest DINAH SHORE, for her first appearance on television. A sultry Dinah sings in a split skirt and then perches atop Eds famous "piano-cycle" for a second song while being pedaled across the stage.3.December 9, 1949. Ed dances in a ballet, introduces deadpan VIRGINIA OBRIEN for a song, and appears with BUSTER KEATON in a genuine silent movie! Busters first television appearance is even more historical as he joins Ed in recreating the first gags he did before a movie camera! Buster alone is worth the price of admission for these three fine shows! 73 minutes total.
