Entertaining July 15, 2009 Peanut Butter (Canada) This movie is about a woman who has been told her days are numbered so she goes and blows her savings on her dream vacation. Queen Latifah and LL Cool J work great together. They are very funny and have good comedic timing together. This is a great popcorn and soda movie for a night in.
Funny money June 26, 2009 Patricia Brouillette (Fort Drum, NY United States) Definably a chick flick. Great comedy as well. Great and funny storyline of a women coming out of her shell and learning to live life to the fullest.
On your knees, here's the Queen !! April 3, 2009 Juan Garibaldi Rodriguez (Monterrey, NL, Mexico) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Lovelly comedy about life, great performances, and a very funny Latifah. The scenes with Queen Latifah on those dresses make her look like the diva she is.
Gerard Depardieu is a real treat.
Great encoding, this movie looks great in HD.
Love this movie! March 3, 2009 Jacob Vaughn 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the third copy of this movie I've bought. First the full frame, then widescreen DVD, then Blu-Ray. Not necessarily Oscar material, but it's a great feel-good movie.
Terrific movie but so so blu ray. January 3, 2009 M. Western 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This movie was uplifting, funny and entertaining but certainly formulaic and prodictable. It was not intended to be anything more and is well worth a watch. The blu ray is not a top notch example of the medium and is consistantly soft through out.
