I have to say the stars of the show were the supporting cast including Tudgeman, Matt, and Sam and Jo McGuire. The trio is great, but as the show went on it became more and more of a stretch to find Lizzie as an "average" girl despite being clearly the best looking girl in school and being in an Aaron Carter video, dating Frankie Muniz, etc. The episodes in the first season were the best and the series went downhill after. The strength of the show was dealing with issues kids go through with patronizing them and being actually funny. Today's Disney shows try really hard to force laughs and it comes off really bad. The Lizzie McGuire Show is great for any Hilary Duff fan!!!   February 3, 2009 R. Bible, Jr. Hilary Duff made her true start in "The Lizzie McGuire Show"...this tv show is truly great for any Duff fan. The show focuses on Lizzie McGuire, her family and school friends...it's a very light-hearted and funny family show.
