Product Description In the past, getting rid of those pesky rodents that burrow holes on your property has been limited to the use of poisons and traps that harm or kill these animals. Solmate has developed a new environmentally friendly and non-harmful device to keep moles, gophers and other rodents from causing destruction to your land. The deterrent is a solar powered device that sends out a state-of-the-art sonic pulse every 30 seconds, irritating rodents and forcing them to find quieter surroundings. This ingenious product produces a sound only audible by rodents, so it won't have any affect on your pets. One of these covers about 7500 square feet, more than enough for a standard size property. Ffor larger applications, simply add more devices. It is built with a strong ABS plastic and comes in a watertight housing with a unique mow over design that will last for years to come.

Save your money! December 28, 2008 Angelo D. (Greenville, SC) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I as many reviewers before me have wished for - an ability to give zero stars! After over a month in the ground the mole trails actually seemed to increase. I think the moles thought this was a boom box and invited over new friends to party. When a new entry point showed up about 18 inches from this device, I finally gave up on the humane approach. After many months and $'s spent for castor oil, bobcat urine and then this device, I decided to set a spike trap. The next morning, success at last. I got one of the little ba@&*%ds! I moved it to a new entry point and the next morning, same result. Sorry, but being the nice guy doesn't work. Buy yourself a spike trap and save your self a lot of time and money.
