The high-performance HDTVa amplified indoor HDTV antenna from Terk Technologies is designed to capture both UHF and VHF signals (channels 2 to 69) while extending the reception range for all local HDTV broadcasts. The HDTVa uses an ultra-low-noise, high-gain amplifier with Terk's exclusive Dual-Drive Amplifier technology for clear reception of both distant and close HDTV and DTV stations. As suitable for those living in city apartments as for those in suburban homes, the compact HDTVa lets viewers experience HDTV broadcasts in full resolution. Designed for total reception versatility, the HDTVa's high-gain antenna array can be oriented either horizontally or vertically within its mounting base to achieve optimum capture of off-air broadcasts. Set the amplifier to high-gain mode to compensate for signals that are too weak or might otherwise be bypassed for a stronger signals nearby. Simplifying your installation, the HDTVa uses Terk's Power Injector to derive power via its coaxial connecting cable. The result? One cable is all you have to connect, making it easy to install the HDTVa atop or near your television. The antenna is engineered to receive all local HDTV channels, with an operating bandwidth covering both the UHF (channels 2 to 13) and VHF (channels 14 to 69) frequency ranges. it is a pretty good antenna, can't get every channel out there but i am also about 45miles or so from the cities, so maybe that means something. good pictures quality

First off, this item shipped to me 24 hours after I purchased it even using the free shipping. Free overnight shipping is hard to beat!
As far as the quality of the product, I am extremely pleased. It is a little bit bigger than I thought it would be and I had to straighten out the cable to keep it from falling over at first but those are my only complaints.
It is a very painless and easy antenna to set up, and it puts out such an amazingly clear image. Granted, I live in an area that is very close to the towers so I can't vouch for how well it receives long-distance signals but if you know that you don't live out in the middle of nowhere then I think you'll be very pleased with this antenna as well.

I am very pleased with this antenna. It brings in more digital channels than I expected. I currently receive 38 digital stations that are very clear.

This antenna was well made, but the track underneath the base wouldn't hold the cord in and made the antenna wobbly. It did just okay at receiving programs, but not any better than my 10+ year old Jensen 930. I returned it after 12 days and got a full refund the next day after Amazon received it.

I am loving this antenna! I had no idea my old analog set could produce such a great picture. With this antenna and my converter box, I no longer have any desire for cable or a new TV. What a great investment!
