Just a little note for future buyers to let them know that the cord is not 8 feet long as mentioned in the product description. It extends only 4 feet. :((

My only beefs are that the wall plug sticks out and I wish it were flatter. Also, the outlets on the protector are too close together. It will only six plugs if they are the simplest, thinnest variety. Many plugs are now larger/thicker than the old normal kind--such as my printer plug, my scanner plug, my cell phone plug, etc.
