I love this lamp dimmer. The black is so much better than the white or cream color because in time, those tend to become very dingy looking. This looks sleek and works well. It helps to not only create a mood, but prepare me for sleep, which I have problems with. It also helps me to prepare my toddler for sleep. I have 1 in practically every room.

I have a desktop and a floor lamp in my theater room and was in desperate need of a dimming solution. These are perfect. You just plug one end into the receptacle and the plug the lamp into these. Included is a 6 foot extension enabling you to place the dimmer switch near you for easy access. These work beautifully, are inexpensive and now I can dim the light from my seat.

Bought 2 of these to control floor lights that were just out of easy reach to control. The dimmers work excellent and look perfect. Each dimmer has a very small red night light that only comes on when the lamp is completely off to help locate the dimmer control in the dark. Sliding the dimmer is easy to do and does vary the lighting amount. An excellent product.

I have used these dimmers for controlling the floor lamp lights in the bedrooms for years. Hang them over the top of the headboard and they are always within reach.
