Nice DMM, but a few minor issues. April 5, 2008 Verkinix 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a nice DMM. One of the best I've used. Measures all the usual electrical elements as well as temperature. The auto-ranging feature is fantastic. Things that are sub par in my opinion include the manual and the pc interface. The manual is terse, but contains some useful information. The pc interface is a serial connection which my post 1972 laptop doesnt have. So I will have to get a serial to USB converter and hope the software works correctly with this. Also, the software appears to be dated in 2003, so it could potentially be out dated, but I havent been able to test it as of yet. Either way, it could use an update geared toward newer systems. All in all, I cant complain. The backlight works well, the DMM does what I need it to, and could potentially be PC useful.
One Nice Multimeter October 20, 2005 T. David Mackey (College Station, TX) 17 out of 25 found this review helpful
Is is by far the best multimeter I have used. It has a clear display and an easy to use interface. What is really nice about it is it doesn't feel cheap. A true piece of fine craftsmanship. Another good thing about this product is its wonderful overload protection, so you never have to worry about blowing a fuse or something crazy like that. Highly recommand for any electrical engineers or hobbiest who want to have something cool to show their friends.
