Amazon.com Product Description The GenTran two-circuit generator transfer switch for up to 12,500-watt generators is an ideal way to keep a 50 Amp 120/240-volt circuit running during a blackout. It comes prewired and installs indoors, next to your load center. The ground post is incorporated in the enclosure, and three combination 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch knockouts on the sides and back make wiring fast and easy. When your power goes off, you'll connect a power cord from your generator to the inlet on the transfer switch and start your generator. Switch the utility breaker off, slide over the interlock, and switch the generator breaker on. When utility power is restored, simply do the reverse, then shut down and store your generator.
