 Cleaning the inside of your Wii? October 30, 2008

I bought this hoping to open up my Wii and fix SSBB... It serves its purpose perfectly but be warned that once you get the Wii open it is VERY hard to find the laser, if that's what you're buying this for. I ended up sending my system into Nintendo anyway; even after I cleaned the lens with alcohol, it still didn't play the game - save yourself a lot of stress and give Nintendo a call.

I received this item by accident when I tried to purchase a different, higher quality triwing screwdriver from the same vendor on a different listing.
I tried to use it anyway, it works very poorly on my DS Lite screws, it is too big for them but if you really work at it you can get it to catch a little.
The screwdriver I received had a rusting tip and the blue plastic ball on the end keeps falling off.
I'm really unhappy that the unit I received was in such poor condition, and it wasn't even the item that I ordered which is made of better steel.
Disappointment.

It works wonderfully and fits into the GameCube controller, just as I'd hoped it would. It's easy to hold and while light-weight, it has durability to it.

smaller than I expected but it did the job I needed it to do, I used it to take apart my Wii.

This screwdriver does its job but you can get something similar for a lot cheaper. Keep on looking. A quick google search will lead to the same thing for only $1 or $2 shipped!! I found this out after I bought this item
