As the title says, installation is easy but the range is not much past 20ft and the chime is very quiet so if you cant take it far from where you can easily hear it then its not much good, on the other hand its easy to install and works fine without wires.

The product works as expected - Unfortunately a rarety today. It is not very loud at its maximum setting. The transmitter [not the receiver] determines the tune.
Great Second/Third Receiver for Carlon RC3200 Extend-a-Chime January 21, 2009

Have already written a 5 Star review of the RC3200 Carlon Enxtend-a-Chime wireless door bell system.
Also bought two additional RC3733D receivers (large basement with multiple rooms with doors).
These extra receivers worked with the RC3200 system straight out of the box with no modifications. Installation was (1) Plug into wall outlet, and (2) Push doorbell to verify system works.
This sytem, the RC3200 with RC3733D duplicates receivers, works very well. And I would recommend it to anyone who needs to extend the range of their existing door bell system.

Note that this only works with Carlon wireless door chimes. It is great to have a ringer wherever you want, however, due to the denseness of log home walls, it may not work in the outlet you would like to use - and forget about the 150' range through logs. It is a great product - easily damaged by lightning and power surges because it uses your house's wiring.
