Product Description The Pharos Bluetooth Dock allows the GPS receiver sold in the Microsoft Streets and Trips with GPS Locator 2007 package to be used as a wireless Bluetooth GPS receiver. Communicate with wireless Bluetooth connectivity to your laptop, Tablet or Pocket PC. With a range of up to 30 feet, the need for connector cables is completely eliminated, allowing you to place the GPS receiver anywhere in your vehicle. With a rechargeable and replaceable Li-Polymer battery, you'll be able to take long trips with each battery lasting up to 7 hours and 15 minutes fully charged. A DC charging adapter is included so that you'll be able to charge the Bluetooth dock while you're on the road. The blue LED indicator will let you know if your dock is powered on or off.

Great Bluetooth accessory for Streets and Trips and Pharos GPS October 24, 2008 G.O. The Bluetooth dock has plenty of power and works great in my car. It is small and unobtrusive. I use it with my laptop and my PDA.
Does not work while charging October 1, 2008 B. Heins (Brampton, Ontario Canada) I bought this because it was recommend by microsoft for use with Streets and Trips. As already mentioned it does not work with Streets and trips on Vista. It does however work well with Garmin PC. A few things I'm not happy about. The blue led is to bright when you have the unit on your dash at night and it does not work while you are charging it... very annoying. Update: The unit does not work while charging until the battery has been charged for 15 minutes after being fully discharged.
Works Great September 7, 2008 Mike A. (West Georgia) Works great with Blackberry 8700. Also works great with Google Maps With GPS Tracker 13.0 (Shareware software). Doesn't work at all with Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008 running on Windows Vista - Apparently Streets & Trips 2008 has problems with half-duplex bluetooth serial port communications... Shame on you Microsoft. I recommend the Pharos BT dock IF you don't plan to use it with Streets and Trips on Vista. Cheers, Mike
Great option worth having! June 13, 2008 J. J. Robbins (Chi, ILL) I bought this to use with my PDA and laptob. It works great, easy to setup, long battery life. Has a blue connect light, flashes to show it is on, turns soild when linked. Recharges quickly, small, great design, no wires to fight with. Great product, highly recommend. Would buy it again for any price, well worth investment. Can't think of a way to make it any better, no complaints.
Does the job June 7, 2008 Michael Moore (Adairsville, GA United States) Works great for me, I bought it to pair it up with a free GPS application on a Windows Mobile device for Geocaching. I also use it to eliminate the wires when I'm traveling with my fiance using the laptop and Microsoft Streets and Trips 2007. Works well in both cases.
