It's nice to just press a button to have a second variable measurement for the same testpoint. i.e. AC voltage and Frequency or AC Voltage and Ambient Temperature. I like that and that you can also measure the ambient temperature without the need of special probes. You can also use the optional probes to mesure surface temperature if you want.
It's great to charge the battery with the provided power supply or any other 24V power supply.
Please note that if you need to connect with your computer, you will need to order the optional USB/IR cable. I was wondering if I could use my Laptop IR port to do that, but after I was unsuccesful doing that I contact the Agilent's product support website and they explained that it can only be done with the optional USB/IR cable.
