The 9-second certification of a Cat 6 line makes the DTX test 100 additional links in a single shift. Fiber tests are five times faster, saving many hours. Overall, the DTX can save you up to 4 hours a day on an average certification job. The unit comes standard with a main Cable Analyzer and a Smart Remote. By adding a second Smart Remote, another installer can be setting up for the next test while the you're completing the current test, resulting in additional time savings. The DTX is not only fast, it's accurate, and can switch between copper and fiber with the push of a button (see Fiber Modules below).
