Belkin November 21, 2008 J. Hampton (DFW, Texas) Great looking, great performance, great product. Definately recommended. Bought a Monster Cable power center first,(a 1600 I think) which allowed a loud pop to come through my speakers when I turned the power on and off to a ceiling fan. The Belkin eliminated it. Glad I bought it.
clean power April 6, 2008 Christopher J. Kemper (Valporaiso, Indiana United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great product. We have terrible EMI, as well as constant under and over surges. I have fried 3 hard drives using $100 UPS, and 4 UPS. This 'cleans' the power, and have not had any problems since!
Great power Center/surge Protector?? hummm after 1 month February 22, 2008 D. Trinh 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
After 2 weeks of research for a Power center/Surge protector for my plasma/PS3/HD DVD player/ Pioneer Receiver.....I ended up with these 2 options: 1) Belkin PF60 (black) ( 1st I though the sliver/white version of PF60 was better due to the price at the time, but there're all the same, got mine for $230) or 2) Monster Home Theatre Reference HTS 3600 MKII PowerCenter with Clean Power Stage 3 v.2.1 Circuitry Ended up the the Belkin PF60 but wish I could take this back. Here's the Reasons: Feel that there was a difference in picture quality or sound quality? NOPE, not at all. Tried it w/o and with this power center. Knowing that my equipments are safe?? I guess. Probably same feeling if w/ all Power center/Surge protectors. After about a month, the "switch' button in front stopped working. It turns on but you can turn it off unless you unplug the entire power center. I also tried resetting the Pf60. Reset button doesn't even work. Any advice will do. Conclusion,,,, Go with the brand name 'Monster Home Theatre Reference HTS 3600 MKII PowerCenter ' if you have these 2 options. Peace.
Great bang for the buck February 8, 2008 M. McGhee 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product is a great bang for the buck. It has all the inputs and filters you need to make sure you equipment is safe. Do yourself a favor, don't spend twice on the Monster brand.

This looks great, and has a very heavy-duty feel to it. Each outlet bank can be set to switch on and off (or not) based on the front switch or a remote 12 volt trigger. It comes with a power cable which, when plugged into a switched outlet, will switch the other outlets on and off. So, if you plug this into the switched outlet on your receiver, for example, you can make the outlets of your choice turn off and on with the receiver. They can also be set to turn on after a delay, to allow the amp (for example) to power up before turning on the source device. This is a pretty powerful capability. It has a couple of outlets that are for high current devices, like power amps, which is nice to see. I have a high-end receiver plugged into one of them (160 Watts x 7 channels) with no issues. It isn't perfect, however. The front panel looks like brushed aluminum, but is really just painted plastic, so know that going in. Also, after about a year some of the LCD segments on mine no longer light, probably due to a bad solder joint on the display. This could just be a problem with my unit, but it does make me a bit concerned about their quality control and makes me a bit hesitant to buy a second one. The display is hard to read from below, too, so you'll want to put this on a lower shelf. Overall, a good unit for the price, and looks great too.
