These worked just fine in Argentina. One thing I worried about was using these adapters with a small power strip with a grounding plug, but the contoured shape allowed ground plug to fit perfectly. Check the devices you want to use in a foreign country. If they do not work on the local voltage (Argentina uses 240v), you need a voltage converter, too. For my Ipod and battery chargers, no converter was needed as these devices are dual voltage. If you have a 4th gen Ipod, make sure you also get a new charger. The old ones don't work with the new Nano and I had to a charger in Argentina.
