I ordered this lock because I wanted a lock that was light enough to store in my seat bag. It works. This lock isn't designed for serious security but it has a solid feel and a smooth operation that will act as a deterrent to the casual thief. Programming the 4 digit combination lock is a bit tricky but, once programmed, it works smoothly. 3 feet of cable is enough for most applications. I bought one for my wife as well and she uses it frequently and with some expectation of minimal security for short periods.
Again, not serious security but if light and sturdy is what you are looking for give this one a try.
