Worked well for about a year. Then, the plastic housing that holds the spring broke, rendering it useless. I used in a residential garage with low usage.

Great product. Have had for over a 2 months and has worked to perfection. Have read reviews about product not working after cord was allowed to "snap back" into reel; however, all reel extension cord products are not meant to have that occur.

I honestly don't know about the product itself. I ordered this from Amazon on Dec. 30th and I still haven't gotten it by Mar. 16th. I see others have recieved theirs from another vendor.
Now Amazon says to mid May!!

Mine has performed without flaw for over a year. I have no complaints. It is used on a daily basis in my shop. I have two other *cheaper* models from a different maker and they both quit working after a few months. The failure points seem to be the brushes and the re-wind spring. This one must have heavy duty versions of both, because they work so well! worth the few extra bucks.

This item works well to wind up the cord quickly. There is a swivel so the case moves in different directions and it has a release clip if you need to move it from it mounted location. I didn't realize how heavy it would be but 50 ft of cord is a lot. All in all it is working well for me.
