Blue max pressure washer October 22, 2008 Alphabet (Belvidere NJ) This pressure washer is very good.I had no trouble getting it together and had no trouble starting the machine. Its works great and the pressure is just as it states. There was one bolt missing but easy to replace.
Good little unit October 21, 2008 J. Popio (Ohio) Not much in the way of instructions. (But it did include the wrenches!) I set it up, put in some oil and gas. (I did take the advice of other reviewers and replaced the plastic coupling with a brass unit.) Hooked up the hose and the mildew was off the sideing in a few minutes. It was fun too. I just ordered an extension for the hose. There was some confusion on my part related to the shipping. Thanks AMAZON for making it right. If you need a commercial unit this is not, but if you just want to save the trip to the rental for houshold jobs this will work fine. (and should pay for itself in no time).
Had to return it October 6, 2008 Manuel A. Rodriguez (Dania Beach, Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Received the Blue Max 2200 PSI with great anticipation after noticing that most reviews, except for the quick release issue gave it thumbs up. Predictably, the plastic quick release did not work, kept popping out under pressure. So purchased the brass fitting as suggested at home depot (cost me about 8.00 because had also buy female to female converter). All went well for about thirty (30) minutes at which time the engine started to stall. Checked fuel, oil and fittings, all looked good. After about the third time of it quitting and starting, it quit altogether never to start again inspite of my troubleshooting attempt. Called Amazon Customer Service to find out about warrantee work. Amazon CS provided me with a phone number to the distributor, and suggested I call them back if problem not solved. Called the distributor and a nice lady answered who said she could not help me but someone would call back to assist. After waiting for a return call for three days, I decided to call Amazon again and asked to return the unit. Went to UPS store to return it and was told they could not take it for it smelled of gas, even though I thought I had drained all gas and oil. Brought unit back home and left tank cap open and a fan blowing on it to disperse any odor. Finally, law and behold, UPS accepted the shipment. Thanks to Amazon for accepting to pay for return shipment and issue complete refund. Moral: Look and read carefully before you buy any internal combustion item.
Pressure washer review September 3, 2008 J. Blackburn (Frankfort, KY USA) Produce works great, the only problem is that all of the owner manuals are in metric measurements and not sae.
Product doesn't work August 28, 2008 Michael S. Wolff This thing is a piece of junk! It came with a broken coupler for the hose. I fixed that. Then it worked for about 15 minutes and quit. I found a leaking fuel line [all of this on my brand new machine] and fixed that. I have tried everything and this thing won't run. How do I send this back and get another one? Mike Wolf
