everyone should have one. November 8, 2009 B. Thompson (Jackson, Oh) great little saw. i use it a lot when i cant get others in to an area. cut a treated 4X4 (needed to be trimmed from my deck, and couldnt get to it any other way) in two in about 5 min. with it. the guy i was with it would never cut it when i brought it out. i also had my doubts but we were proven wrong. everyone should have one.
Impressive October 18, 2009 Dillon D Barnes (Kansas, USA) Great value. Good tool for a rough cut of countless things. Used it to trim a couple fresh branchs the other day, cut through it like butter.
Nice but Milwaukee Quik-lok is better choice July 1, 2009 G. Powell (Seattle, WA USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is a nice single purpose saw, but I bought the Milwaukee 48-08-0401 Quik-Lok Job Saw instead. It's over twice the price, but I can use any Sawzall blade in it, from a 12" pruning blade Bosch RP125 12-Inch 5 TPI Wood Cutting reciprocating Saw Blades - 5 Pack and screw a broom handle in the end to have a pole saw, to a 6" 18 tooth metal cutting blade, Milwaukee 48-00-4184 Ice Edge Sawzall Blade 18 Teeth Per Inch 6-Inch Length for trimming up some angle iron.
And of course you can get a drywall blades, Milwaukee 48-00-5036 Super Sawzall Blade 6 Teeth per Inch 9-Inch Length
It's more money but it's more useful.
Also great for gardening and sawing through roots right in the dirt... February 8, 2009 E. Jones (California) I don't remember exactly what project I bought this saw for, but i've been using it quite a bit in my back yard! The teeth are great and it saws quickly. I have been trying to plant a lot lately and i have too many roots in my back yard from the previous owner. I just stick this saw in the ground (of course knowing there aren't any pipes in the area!) and saw on through the pesky roots...I have used this saw more than my other hand saws for other odd projects as well. Comfortable and a great tool - even after using this saw on ALL KINDS of stuff, teeth are still running strong...
Should be part of every toolbox! January 2, 2009 NoFear_2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been using this saw for the past few months and love it!
It's great for punching small holes as well as cutting large sections of drywall. It also works well at cutting plastic gang boxes (don't ask... the people who built my condo apparently didn't understand the concept of 90 degree angles).
If you need to do any drywall work, get this saw. You won't regret it!
