excellent hack saw November 12, 2009 Kerry Pierce (Detroit, MI USA) Like all the others, I'm very pleased with this saw. It has comfortable grips and a very easy method of changing and tensioning the blades. My old saw, by comparison, is a real pig for blade changes... The Dewalt is a keeper!
Now this is a hack saw! December 5, 2008 Dick Johnson (Oklahoma USA) Throw away your old ones and quickly back away - to get one of these. There's little to say that isn't in the product description - it does what you expect it to do and it does it very, very well.
You can also drop your gym membership. This puppy is heavy. Saw some pipe to build up your biceps.
excellent product June 26, 2008 T. Booher (Alexandria, VA) I had high expectations for this hacksaw and it impressed me on all of them. It is very sturdy saw and is able to tear through projects they used to take a lot of strokes before. I haven't changed the blade yet but it does look very easy to change. The overall feel of the saw is that it is very solid and very capable to tackle the toughest of projects. I recommend this on to any of my friends and I'm not disappointed at all in my purchase.
BEST Hacksaw Ever January 27, 2008 H. Hodge (Florida) This is by far the best built and most well thought out hacksaw I have ever seen. Super sturdy. Blade storage. Quick change and has 45 degree. It is a little more than some others but you will have it for a lifetime.
Great saw December 16, 2007 Sean P. Logue (Research Triangle Park, NC USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I used to think all hack saws were the same, until I ran across this little beauty. The tension adjustment is perfect. I have a tendency to over tighten my blades, which warps and ruins them. This saw just clicks the blade into place at just the right tension.
Very comfortable to hold, easy to control, with a nice guard to keep you from getting hurt.
To top it all off, there is storage for blades inside the frame, so I actually have a chance of finding the blades I bought when it comes time to use the saw.
I really like this.
