The first is for finish work only, I love it so much I bought a second one, and now I use the 2nd one for siding and trim. There is no other hammer I would use. This 10 oz. hammer works just as good as the 16 oz. steel ones. I got one for myself and my daughter and son-in-law. My daughter said it is now her hammer of choice. My back loves this hammer! It's light weight but the curved handle gives you that edge to really drive a nail in. Alot of guys tell me that if I had to drive nails all day my arm would be tired, but I don't have to and I know a couple of carpenters on the job swear by it too.
