Great All Purpose Tool October 15, 2009 Boilermate (Upstate NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Unlike some of those cheap multi-drivers, this one will stand up to actual use. I've used a 5 in 1 for years with no problems, so when I saw this one, I grabbed it. I was not disappointed. It is even more versatile.
I have other Klein tools and have always found them to be well made...and made in the USA!
The only complaint I have is that the bits are a tad small to grasp sometimes.
Not perfect but a great value October 2, 2009 Robert S. Tobias (Arlington, VA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the best multi-bit screwdriver I've found. It provides the best selection of well constructed bit's I've found in a multi-bit tool. The grip is good and the bits are ground correctly and are quite durable. It means I don't have to carry a almost a dozen different items and can still get the job done. My only "want" would be for the handle to be a bit larger.
I agree with some of the other reviewers that the bits can fall out and sometimes get lost. However to me, for $10-$12, it's worth having a tool that provides excellent service and might need to get replaced after a few years because part of it gets lost. Also, as someone already pointed out, Klein provides a lifetime guarantee so if something actually breaks they will replace it.
Not perfect. June 13, 2009 D. J. Bohn (Northville, MI United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I couldn't imagine not having this screwdriver, but I have a complaint- the yellow plastic portion dis-locks from the rubber grip over time. It has happened in 4 straight. It's annoying.
Buy 2 February 17, 2009 M. Labowicz (Chicago, IL) I own two of these (one for my car, and one for around the house), and I'm very happy with the product. It is useful in almost any situation that requires a screw to be loosened or tightened. The build quality is also very good, since I've had the product for years and it still works like brand new!
I won't leave home without it January 16, 2009 Edd Anderson (San Diego) This is something I use on a daily basis, the super of my building uses one.A few good reasons to buy one, #1. its a Klein all my pliers are Klein. I plan to buy a new set of a wire strippers, they will be Klein, #2. They are for a lifetime and if they fail they will be replaced.#3 the only problem I have had is I have a pair of wire strippers that no longer function perfectly, I have used them for so long and think I paid at most $5.00, some of my stuff I have had 40 years. #4. This fits in my pocket and handles a lot of situations, for maintenance or electrical work #1 for quality and multi-use.
