 Great chisel set November 1, 2009

I like this set becasue:
1. Works good
2. cheap
3. Takes lots of abuse
4. Easy maintenance
If you need some chisels for a project, I'd buy these. They work and don't cost a ton. I've had mine for over a year now, I've used them alot, and expect much more use out of them.

I'm a remodel carpenter, and I do a lot of framing, so thats where these chisels get most of their use. They are great in that capacity, pretty sharp, and keep an edge well despite some pretty serious abuse. If you are looking for finish carpentry chisels, or cabinetry chisels, I hihgly recommend that you spend some more money, since these are not good enough for that kind of work, especially in hardwoods.

These wood chisels are basic and will serve your needs if you do entry level woodworking. I decided to keep them because I will not be using them daily. Larry

These chisels are simply beautiful. I like the look of the handle a lot. They are nice companion for my Japanese blue steel chisels.

I purchased this set, and was pleased with the quality - certainly for under 10 bucks. Nice to note that these are made in Canada. (NOT the prc)
