They may be a little on the heavy side, but I wager it's tough to make a good 30" inch bolt cutter much lighter. Well-designed and balanced for maximum bite and leverage, this is one of the better bolt cutters I've seen, and believe me, I've seen a few. Cut with confidence!

The name is a little misleading and I thought it was an American product. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with the purchase as it worked very well. Cut the biggest spare nail I found around the house and cut it like a stick of butter. Highly recommend it.

I received these cutters in the mail today. I have to start lifting again in order to use them. They must be all of twenty pounds. It says ten, but I don't believe it. I am 66 years old and I will have a heck of a time cutting any bolts just because of the shear weight of this tool. The handles are solid iron. I have a pair of cutters...small pair... that have tubular steel handles. Not these. Not sure how they will work, but be aware of how heavy and uncomfortable they are to use. If you have to use them over your head, forget it!
