| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description An excellent chisel set with rugged plastic handles and the incomparable Marples' steel blades. Blue Chip handles have a " rounded square" cross section that fits comfortably in the hand, making the chisel easy to control regardless of the angle of the blade. The Bevel Edge is now the most popular type of general purpose chisel. It is used for chamfering, dovetailing and making clean cuts in tight corners where a thicker chisel would jam. Set of 4 contains 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" chisels.

| Customer Reviews: Almost as good as they used to be. March 29, 2009 H. Johnson (Syracuse, NY United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have a set of these I purchased back when they were made in Sheffield. I bought a second set recently as a gift only to find they are now an asian product. In comparing the 2 sets the older set is definitely nicer, no molding marks on the handles, overall better metal finishing. That said these are still a great value. Unles you wish to spend alot more I don't think you will find a nicer chisel. I find them to be well balanced and hold a nice edge.

Excellent Chisels November 6, 2008 Woodshop guy 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Excellent chisels for woodworking. High-Quality steel, made in England. A terrific bargain for the price.
Reasonable value - expect lots of sharpening March 22, 2008 D. Piedra (Larchmont, NY USA) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
They're inexpensive, but don't keep a good edge for very long. You can get them pretty sharp, but the edge will be gone with a few mallet blows.
