Bought it, lost it, didn't replace it November 5, 2008 New England Yankee (Northern New England) Looks cool. Small and solid. Interesting folding mechanism. Grabs your key ring. Teeny pliers and screwdrivers. Whoops! Too small. Too flexy. Too hard to use. Falls off the key ring. Gets lost. Nope, not again.
Item is not as pictured December 7, 2007 William Donnell 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I borrowed one of these little tools a friend had and thought it was great. So I ordered several as small gifts for friends. But the items I ordered were NOT the same as my friends. The image is "polished stainless steel", but mine came as a rough feeling dark grey. Color is not a big deal, but the tools working properly is. My friends swisstech had "made in usa" stamped on it and even though it was old - was still in perfect working condition. The Swisstech tools are now made in china and they feel like it. Hard to close, when you open it to use as pliers, the "arms" don't stay in place and make it very hard to use. I am VERY dissapointed. -William Donnell
Kick-Butt little tool December 15, 2006 Tom Karl (Menomonie, WI) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Last summer, I was camping with my church. Stupid me, forgot my tool box at home. Needed to wire a plug for 220volts for an espresso machine to work with the service panel at the camp ground. With this and my handy Swiss Army knife (knife only) I put it all together. This is just 1 of a million times I've needed a screw driver or pliers for something and only had this on hand. No, it's not like using a full size driver but it's 1000 times better than nothing. I love it....
Not Swiss (or USA), Not "tech", Not working ... December 13, 2006 Juan Reyna (Chino Hills, CA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are really cute. Not in a good way. Smaller than i thought. Broke in my hand while trying to use as pliers on a simple task. Screw drivers akward to use because you are trying to spin tiny open pliers on its end while pushing downward. It is better than nohing, if stranded, in the wilderness, with no hope of finding a shreds metal to be used as improvised tools. They are shiny though.
