 Fantastic - "Magic" sliders is right! September 16, 2009

I first stumbled on to these sliders a month or so ago as we were moving into a new house. They worked so incredibly well that I have used most of the entire line they manufacture to put them on just about every piece of furniture I have.
In fact they saved me from a very difficult situation where I was installing a 60" plasma TV plus video receiver, Blu Ray, etc, etc on a 62" glass TV stand. Thankfully, after putting the sliders on the feet of the TV stand, I was able to assemble and wire the enitre lashup with the unit pulled out from the wall, and then singlehandledly push the entire loaded stand back into place. The combined weight had to be well over 150 pounds. Since the entire system ends up sitting between two tall tower storage units, there would have been no way for me to assemble it in place and then lift the TV onto the top of it, no matter how many people helped me.
I have also made good use of their "temporary" large disk sliders that you place under the legs of something you might need to move just once.
 They are Magic... but a bit pricey. October 24, 2007

These things work as advertised. I have an office that is carpeted and had to purchase about 25 packages of 4 of these. They really help with the wear on the carpet and the chairs almost slide across the carpet... actually they do if you push them firmly. One thing that came in very handy was buying industrial strength Velcro and attaching that to the bottom of the chair legs and the other part of the Velcro to the slider. This allows for some play of movement for the slider without it losing its adhesion. I give it only 4 stars instead of 5 because even though they are "magic" 5 dollars to outfit a chair with these is a bit much.

Could not even use it in a small footed bookcase. Tried first with a chair and slider would not adhere. Tried bookcase then, and it still is very difficult to move around. Advertised for items up to 2500 lbs, bookcase is not even one hundred. Bought with the rectangles ones. Shipping and taxes almost 60% of their price.Will find out if I can still return them. Do not waste your money.
