With the installer and consumer in mind the unit can be fitted inside a cabinet or against any suitable surface within minutes by simply screwing in the TV lift unit, power supply and RF module. Please note that due to the 29.5" (750mm) stroke some 50" models may not be suitable. Whisper-Ride takes up the least amount of space in a cabinet or other enclosure measuring less than 10 inches in width and requiring only 2 inches of depth behind the TV. This allows for a very slender enclosure or cabinet to be built that will not only house the TV but also the rest of the entertainment components as well. Slight damage in shipping, should have package better.
Found loose retaining screws, had to partially disassemble to tighten.
Product performs well.
