This lock works as advertised, really great solution to avoid carrying keys around. My wife who hates technology even likes it!
One thing that might be useful if you purchase this is that you may think you are missing a screw because the inside latch plate only comes shipped with the upper screw attached. This screw is for SHIPPING and is longer than the 2 that are provided to actually attach this to the lock. It can be set aside, and is not used. The 2 smaller screws are found in the plastic bag that accompanies the lock. Also, you'll need to rotate the inner cam to the "use" position before removing the 2 INTERIOR screws that will allow you to take this lock out of the packaging (it ships screwed in to a piece of foam).
These are 2 simple issues, but not covered in the otherwise decent manual.

The bolt may be a little bigger than standard, but that's good, right? The install is almost like a regular lock... no big deal. The operation is rock solid. It didn't mention it in the product description but I believe this lock is bump resistant. (The lock mechanism is not directly connected to the cylinder unless you insert the key and apply pressure.)
This was definitely worth it, especially since more "bump proof" locks are ~$120 anyway. You can't beat a Schlage!

I'm very pleased with this lock. It's really useful for families with kids, because you don't have to worry about them losing their key. It also has some intelligent features ... when you press the top button (above the keypad), the keypad lights up ... if it's unlocked, pressing that same button above the keypad allows you to lock the door, without entering the code. I put it on my garage door, and I'm considering getting one for my front door, too.

This is a great lock. I only wish it was a self locking deadbolt, but that's not really an issue. The fit and finish is great, and installation was a snap.

I just purchased a home and the first thing I did was replace the locks on the front and back door. I installed this on the front door, which matched the existing Schlage hardware. Installation took less than 5 minutes, using only a screwdriver. It really can't get much easier than that.
Since I'm doing some work on the floors and am still on the lease at my apt, I only go to the house on the weekends. Wouldn't you know it, I forget to bring the keys to the new deadbolt on the back door. With this lock on the front door, it wasn't an issue.
This is one of the more expensive keypad locks out there, but in my opinion, it's one of the best looking. It was well worth the investment for a solid, secure, good-looking lock.
