Not worth the trouble August 12, 2009

I had the plastic tip out trays, but then the plastic side pieces broke off and I figured, I should get something stronger and more durable. I bought a product at a local hardware store with the same hinges as shown in this picture here and it was not worth the hassle. First, I read the directions, which are awful and aren't worth a darn. I then returned it to the store as I didn't think it would work. I talked to a guy there, who told me I needed to glue in a piece of wood for it to work. So I bought it again, thinking okay, I can do that. Well then, I was at home again and thinking, nope, this still won't work. I returned to the store (keeping the product this time) and asked another person, who told me that I don't in fact need to glue in any other pieces for it to work. We took it out of the box, and I showed him why I didn't think was going to work. We worked through the terrible, not worthwhile directions, and I thought this time I can do it....so once again I went home to attempt this again! I followed the crappy directions, just like the guy at the hardware store showed me and for sure enough NOT good. The template they give you to drill holes is off, so your front panel is higher than it should be, no longer matching up with the other ones. So I adjusted it to my best of knowledge and re-did it. The installation is very difficult. I striped 2 screws on the first side alone. They make it look easy and simple if you don't have a sink in already, but in all honesty, I took it all out and looked up other similar products, as I was very unsatisfied with this product from start to finish. I think I may return to the simple screw on plastic trays and replace them now and then if they break, as it would be MUCH better than this product.
P.S. I have never written a review before, but no one should have to go through the process of trying this product. That is how disappointed I was in the product!
