Misleading picture, beware October 10, 2009 W. Huang (San Jose) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The picture made it look like it's a pack of several pencils. But you will only get one pencil.

This is the best mechanical pencil I have ever owned - a masterpiece of Japanese engineering. I use the .9 mm leads, which never break. Eraser lasts forever. Only complaint is that I can't seem to find extra eraser packs for sale in retail stores (at least in Office Depot), and have to order on-line. You won't be disappointed.
bestpencils for the price October 17, 2008 ingrid (raleigh, nc) These are the best pencils I've ever found, at least that aren't really fancy and over $20. They're far sturdier and smoother than most other cheap-ish mechanical pencils, they don't break the lead as much, and they have a generous eraser. I really like the large finger grip, but it does have a hard time fitting into pen/pencil slots... fortunately, though, this is no problem for me. Mine broke down after a year or two, but after a lot of wear and tear, and for the price, I consider that a pretty good deal.
Good Pencil August 27, 2008 doug (San Antonio, TX USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Well, it may be just a pencil, but its a good one. This is the best overall pencil that I have found. The eraser is especially nice; it is large and lasts forever. I use these pencils at my desk and also for field engineering work. The grip is also good.
It's the simple things... March 22, 2007 K. Howland (Portland, OR.) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is pretty much the only writing implement I use.
It very comfortable, leads don't break, and the big longlasting eraser is great.
