A friend suggested trying this unit

Sanding and working under a boat in Florida
summer heat.

Works was cooler and helped with the dust.

Have used in the garage too on hot afternoons

Not a bad product. Pretty well made and much better at moving air than a regular fan. Would have rated it higher; but it's noisy,especially at high speed. OK for the garage, but not the bedroom.
