I purchased this in January of 2008 so I've had it for more than a year. And I can say that this is truly great product. It "just heats your feet" but the warmth really does spread up your body. Sometimes it gets so hot that I start sweating, or even almost burn my feet and have to take them off! But as a student, this thing was a god-send as it was inexpensive but kept me warm for two winters now.
There's only two things that keep this from being perfect:
1. The heat is not constant. It basically heats up to a certain temperature and then turns off. This happens often and during cold winters, it's fairly annoying when you're sitting there shivering and this thing is barely putting out any heat. For the most part it's great, but the on/off thing is annoying. It should be constant heat.
2. If you have a folding chair or otherwise, this will fit great in between the legs. However, if you have an office chair with the 5 legs/wheels design underneath, it can be a real pain in the butt to get your chair's wheel spokes situated so that you can still have your feet comfortably on the mat. Basically I've found that I have to turn the mat like a diamond so that one corner is pointing towards me and then I have two of the spokes of the chair on either side. It's annoying and I wish there was a smaller sized mat, or one that was more office-chair friendly.
If these two issues were fixed, this would be an absolutely perfect product.

keeps my feet warm at work where space heaters are not allowed. I take my shoes off under my desk anyway and this keeps my feet at the perfect temperature. The velcro on the switch doesn't stay stuck though.

It's like a heated rug. It doesn't make any noise and I don't get cold feet from the concrete floor anymore. The room seems much warmer even though the temperature is the same. Delivery was fast and easy.

I work in an office with carpet over concrete floors. The office is well heated, but the floors are always cold. I bought a cozytoes for my wife last november, and she loved it so I got one for me too. It's much better than the old tin version, and works better than a space heater under your desk.
